Dear Crawford Park Supporter,
As 2025 draws to a close, we want to thank you for your continued support of the Friends. The park has been busier than ever with a wide variety of activities and functions. It is wonderful to see this gem of our community so well used and loved. The Friends continues our mission of maintaining and beautifying the park, and your generosity has enabled us to continue our efforts. The donations we receive help us initiate new projects and support ongoing ones.
This year, we:
Replaced the plastic bench plaques with brass ones to improve their look and longevity
Added several new trees donated by supporters to remember a loved one
Planted summer annuals in the pavilion area, the Sunken Garden, Obelisk Garden, Morabito Garden and the Lincoln Avenue planters
Sponsored an Eagle Scout project to refurbish additional benches near the Sunken Garden
Welcomed fall by planting mums and autumn annuals in the Sunken and Obelisk Gardens
Held our annual fall plant sale to benefit the Friends
Installed holiday decorations and lights to the Sunken and Obelisk Gardens for the Town’s Holiday Lights event on December 6.
We already have a list of projects for 2026, including adding additional perennials to the Sunken Garden and a stone pathway in George’s Garden, but will only be able to achieve them with help from supporters like you. We do not have an annual gala, so this appeal is our primary outreach to you for your support.
The Friends of Crawford Park is a nonprofit volunteer group made up of your neighbors who also love the park. We are focused on making Crawford Park a beautiful destination for all to enjoy, and so we ask that you give as generously as possible. You may donate by credit card via PayPal using the following link or by clicking the donate now button in the top right-hand corner.
Thank you for your continued support. We look forward to seeing you at the park!
